このシリーズは、平面における立体への挑戦、無意識と意識との対比を半立体で表したシリーズです。
半立体にすることで、平面空間の中に「覗きこむ」「探る」という立体要素を取り入れたかった。また宙に浮いているものは、紙を破って編んで構成している。 「破って編む」という行為は、彫刻での小さな粘土から立体物を構成していくことに似せている。なおかつ、このメインとなる浮かせるものには、二度と同じものが作れない美しいものという思いから、紙を切るのではなく、破ることにした。そして、それと対比したかたちでバックのペン画には、3本線と単純化した「芝生」を無意識に描きつづけている。地味だけど美しく心を癒してくれる芝生は心地よい空間を醸し出し、意識的に作った浮かしたものをより一層 惹きたて美しく見せている。
This is a series to express “a challenge for three-dimensional shape on flat surface” and “comparison between unconsciousness and consciousness” with semi three dimension. By making it semi three-dimension, it adopted three-dimensional factors as peeping and probing. A thing that floats in the air is composed by knitting with tearing paper. The act of knitting with tearing is similar to composing a three-dimensional object from small clay in sculpture. I decided to tear the paper because I believe that an artwork never be created as the same twice. In the background of pen drawing, I continue drawing three lines and grass in the way of contrasting with it. The grass that is unspectacular but healing one’s mind accentuates more for a thing created consciously as a floating object.
