油彩、綿布、麻布、パネル
インパクトのない地味な絵を描けば、人目につくようないい絵には程遠いんだろうか？そんな疑問から生まれた作品。
色は1、2色しか使わず、見えにくい緑色を選んでいます。地味というテーマに合わせ、地味だけど美しく心を癒してくれる『芝生』をイメージすることにしました。さらに、その草を3本線と単純化し、無意識のままにただひたすら画面に植え続けました。
遠くからみたらよく見えない、近くで見たら圧倒される。そんなインパクトのあるシリーズです。
If we draw unspectacular pictures which don't make any impact, are they far from those which attract people's attention.
This is the question I started producing this work from. I used 1 or 2 colors and chose less-visible green. I imagined "grass" which heels one's mind, though it's unspectacular along with the theme "Unspectacular". I draw every grass with 3 lines and unconsciously keep "sobbing" grass in the pictures. You can't see the grass clearly, but you feel overwhelmed when looking at it closely. This is such an impact series.
